| Quote: | | Those who preorder the game in Japan and the Americas will receive soundtracks for both the new game and the original Digimon World PlayStation game, a digivolution core for Omegamon, and an Adventure Aid DLC set. |
When ANN has no choice but to say the original name because the edited name might have been restored to the original name as evidenced in this trailer.

What I want to know is, why is the trailer using the Japanese name for Omnimon and not the English name since this going to have a English release?

Possibility that Bandai Namco lost the rights to the name Omnimon so they are now forced to call him Omegamon. Hasbro lost the rights to the name Bluestreak so they renamed the Autobot Silverstreak for years. I think they have finally regain the rights to the name Bluestreak so they can call him that again.

They've never been consitent with it. Heroes uses the raw original names yet Cyber Sleuth uses dub names despite being subbed/Japanese vo.
Personally, I'm glad they're fixing the mess up. I don't hold it against them as the Alpha and Omega analogy wasn't a thing initially there until years later.
