Replace Strength with Vital Throw and Saori's Machamp will be a lean, mean wrestling machine.

For Vital Throw, you would have a Throh instead, since Strength and Machamp have the Kairiki-Kairiky pun that works for them. Vital Throw at least has the word "Nage" like in Nageki in it. |

True, Machamp's use of Strength does emphasize the connection between the Pokémon and the move itself on the Japanese side (as well as the Throh -> Vital Throw / Nageki -> Ateminage connection). I just figured it might be a good alternative considering that Vital Throw was once Machamp's signature move back in the era of Gold, Silver, and Crystal. |
