I recently heard that this was a pretty good series, but im not sure if i should buy it. I just have a couple questions.

This isnt a shojo is it? And if it is does it have a lot of girly elements? Also is this series honestly that good, because it looks like its just about a guy chasing a girl. Any help would be great.

Not, it's not shojo, not at all. It's a shounen romance/harem series.

If it was a shorter series I'd say go for it, but this series is probably going to end up being around 20 volumes long and it doesn't sound like you know whether or not you're a fan of the genre. It's probably not worth the investment on your part.

Personally as a fan of the genre, I wouldn't spend my money on it. I think the lack of progression kills anything good about the story. It's a frustrating series that drags its feet. A story of a boy chasing a girl isn't that exciting when it's like one snail chasing another.

I haven't read it, but one of my reviewers did and he was pretty underwhelmed by it. It's most definitely not shojo, and from what I understand it's pretty packed with fanservice-y near-nudity, too.

Parallel was pretty good. Maybe cause it was only 4 volumes and concluded the story nicely.

Pastel is the exact same thing recycled and stretched thin over god knows how many volumes (is it even finsihed yet? I got till vol 9 or so).
Since it's already a recycled series to begin with and does nothing but water down the story more and more each volume, being exceedingly repetitive, it's utter crap. The only good thing about it is the fanservice Rolling Eyes

One of the best examples of the "not confessing" genre.

This wasn't really a bad manga per sé, it's just that as some have said already, there isn't a lot of plot development. I liked this because of the fact that the characters actually developed (somewhat), and it wasn't all focused on some angsty relationship. However, it got old after a few volumes, but I stuck with the manga till the 9th volume or so, then I skipped to the 14th and found out that I hadn't missed anything at all, and had no trouble picking up the story again.

I wouldn't recomend it, unless you are really into fan service. This is one of my favorite genres, and I gave it up after 3 volumes.
