It sounds like the game is in the planning stage but an RPG where you play as a slime could be fun.

I wonder if this will like konosuba where they make that RPG game exclusive for Volume 1 preorders. I mean it worked very well for that series, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Regardless, I want to play as a slime.

Only thing surprising here is how long this series took to get all this extra exposure. It has been a hit LN for a while.
