Yeah but the spin offs they're already planning are coming though (probably as soon as 2 years)

Good. There's more than enough OYW content already. Do something new.
The news is rather ambiguous though. The remake could just be a separate project and it doesn't necessarily have to be an adaptation of the manga.

Yes it would be! A fresh coat of paint is exactly what this series needs. Also the younger audience will see where the franchise all started.
I personally didn't like the first anime cause I found it to be too slow and boring, but heck Origins really stepped up and got me more interested in seeing the original again probably just the recap movies though.

Still hoping for a full on remake of Mobile Suit Gundam based on Gundam Origin. Next year will be the 40th Anniversary of the franchise, which would be the perfect time to do it.

Thank God, and I thought they were going to milk the hell out of the OYW. Personally, I think the UC series has become stale af. These new projects don't add anything to the main storyline. Origin didn't reveal anything new, Unicorn was irrelevant completely, Thunderbolt is just something that exists for the hell of it.
Gundam SEED Eternity movie is long overdue. Get working on that Bandai!

America still hates SEED and I don’t see anyone doing it with Fudaka’s wife dead.

Stop milking early UC I want other stuff or original stuff we haven't got.
Like I don't know Hathaway's Flash, Crossbone Gundam, Gundam Sentinel, Blue Destiny or Ecole du Ciel.
I want fresh thing in UC not things I already know.

I’m disappointed, but The Origin has had a good run thus far. Perhaps they can do a Gryps conflict OVA next, really get into some facets of Zeta Gundam era UC.

The story's layout is done. And Bandai thinks about Japan's sales before America and Japan loves SEED and SEED Destiny.
And if America hates SEED, why's it getting redubbed? That means rightstuff has confidence in it's sales if they're willing to spend the money on the project.

Three of the five things you listed are "early UC". You want other stuff or original yet list trope desires. Good job.

The recap movies are often what's recommended partly for the reasons you mentioned. I'd also highly recommend The Origin manga, as it's the same story as UC 0079, but told in a more interesting and complex way, it better fits in with sequel series too.
A lot of Gundam fans have put some hope in the announcement of a full adaptation of The Origin next year, during the 40th anniversary. I'd love to see this, personally as I love The Origin to pieces.

As much as I love the manga, I don't want to see it continued to be adapted this way to include the rest of the original story. I'll admit, these OVAs have grown on me (especially as they've gotten better animated), but any step backwards in quality will result in cheap-garbage-like quality (not unlike the first episode of these OVAs).
