An anime film is nice and all but I was hoping for a second season. Anyway, this is better than nothing. A mobage is coming soon too. I hope we get to see another seasons of High School Fleet and Girls und Panzer.

Military theme + cute girl is a really good matching, all of them are good, really popular in Japan since years and there is no sign of attenuation far from this so we can expect more of them coming, another World Witch serie would not surprise me like Brave Witch S2/ Film / OVA serie as did Strike

Movie is pretty disappointing since it's likely a much longer wait after it comes out rather than a tv anime simulcast... I'm guessing the chance of getting this in theatres in North America is real low considering we don't even have blu-rays of this show. It's one I would've liked to buy too.

My heart also sinks a bit when I see a movie announced, as with infrequent exceptions, that means we may never see it available for streaming, and if we do, it will be a long time down the road.

It is also my impression that having a movie as a sequel appears to be a more popular option than a few years ago.

Yeah, movies are way more popular, and I'm at a point I don't even care about those, since I go bald by the time I can watch them anyhow.

Oh right, this is Girls Und Panzer at sea and not the one where the girls are the ships. I actually saw most of it and that's all I remember and only that after reading the article. Sure, I'll always look forward to more adventures of Miho and the gang, the knockoffs... ehh.

I really enjoyed this show, and I'm glad it's getting at least a movie. I just hope the new animation studio doing the movie will not mean changes in the character designs. I absolutely hate when they change character designs.

The news of a Blu-Ray box being released helps explain why Aniplex hasn't released the show here in North America yet. I do hope they get around to it sometime soon. This is a show I'll even pay Aniplex prices for.

A new film? So there was an earlier film?

No, "new" meaning with new animation, as compared to a compilation film that rehashes the previous series.

The movie's been out for a little while now. I've seen it in full, and it is a great movie, being an all-new film, not a compilation, which is exciting. There's also a ridiculously detailed and insightful review out there about it for those looking to get a summary of the movie, as well as an analysis of all the small things, too.
