I watched Free! Starting Days last night so looking forward to seeing some of the characters returning from middle school days. That anime is currently being dubbed at Funimation so hopefully it won't be too long until it's released.
You do need to watch that before watching the new Dive one as you won't understand the relationship between all the new faces.

Yes. You need to watch the movie first because a new characters will appear in this upcoming 3rd season and you'll have trouble understanding their connections if you skip it. The movie take places before the events of 1st season.
