In touchscreen mode, your finger will frequently obstruct your view, making it more difficult to see where to move next; on the other hand, it's much easier to select a plate of your choosing by simply touching it.

I've been hearing that this game was originally designed with the 3DS's stylus in mind, which doesn't block the screen nearly as much as a finger does.

The Puzzles are a demon. You get way too little time with controls designed for on-the-fly moving conveyor belts transferred to a static selection. You basically have to find the solution immediately, and even then you might not have enough time to do it.

The rest of the game is great, but the Puzzles mode felt like a mistake, or at least underdeveloped and undertested.
