Season two is going to be set late war from what we know aka around the Battle of Leyte Gulf time frame so it limits who's around.

Solid pass on this.

I knew nothing about the game, and watched the anime thinking maybe it would go something like Arpeggio of the blue steel. Arpeggio caught me off guard and I liked it.

KanColle was just nothingness, Azur lane is out now and even that seems to be demolishing KanColle at this point.. admittedly I am only up to Ep 4 of Azur Lane as of this post.

Season 1 was terrible, yet not representative of Kancolle lore at all. It would be like coming to a conclusion about Dragonball after watching Dragonball Evolution.

If this production team looks a little into the content of the top selling Kancolle works instead of just the browser game, then it still holds a lot of potential. Will they though, we shall see.

S2 should be about the Nishimura Fleet iirc. Which has my Best Girl Mogami in it.
