"Original" illustration, right. Completely original and brand new.

I saw this drawing before. Most tellingly, Oda drew Luffy and Zoro's poses before, I just can't pinpoint when I saw the drawing, but it isn't new.

More specifically, this is the color spread to Chapter 598. the first chapter after the 2 year time skip.
Oda just sent him a copy of the original spread with a signature on it. |

It should be a very iconic illustration for any One Piece fan...it's the time skipped version of the original color spread from chapter 1 of the manga.

I can't blame Oda for not doing an original drawing. He has too much work on his plate as it is. Just no one tell Emmanuel, okay?

If Oda sent him a copy, does it mean it's just a signed print and not the actual drawing? |

That's basically what I was getting at. Doubt that Oda would send him the actual drawing (and write over the artwork nonetheless) when the sentimental value of that spread is priceless. |

Yeah this isn’t original, but I would still be willing to do most things to get a signed illustration from GOda-sensei.

Kinda funny that all the comments that I read on the tweet are negative ones.

Is it the actual original artwork, or a signed print?
