^ Yeah, it's a reference to a Bob Geldof song about the 1979 Cleveland Elementary School shootings in San Diego.
"I don't like Mondays" is the reasoning the shooter, Brenda Spencer, gave for her actions.
It's also something the tepid off-brand generic cola version of Garfield would say because true Garfield afficionados such as myself know that Garfield doesn't just dislike Mondays, he *hates* Mondays.
