LETS'S GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BEEN WAITING YEARS FOR THIS SERIES TO GET AN ANIME!!!! It's hard to find a good original story that not only makes fun the clichés but rarely has any plot holes. It takes into account every detail mentioned throughout the story from start to finish in the world building. This series gave me everything I wanted and more. I do wish maybe a more well-known studio is animating it, but if they do a good job then I don't care I'll be grateful. I made an account just to post this comment.

This had better be a comedy, cause if it is played straight it is going to be hard to love this series. |

With no spoilers your entire speculation of the premise is completely wrong and in a certain case, literally the opposite. And yes, it is a comedy adventure, but a damn good one. |

Well, that's an interesting take on the "Hero versus Demon Lord" premise.
Looks like the MC is between his childhood friend and the necromancer messing with his soul. |

I figured I was, but according to the article he did accidently kill the hero, and did secretly bury the body so no one knew that he did it. That is why it needed to be a comedy. So I hope you are right. |

the manga is already over. about the tone, this is an action comedy, similar to the original dragon ball,.maybe high school D  if D was 10 times better at comedy.
