So, Harvest Moon by way of Final Fantasy? Sounds... interesting, I guess? Is it also part dating sim like HM games?

A pleasant surprise announcement. After being disappointed by Rune Factory 5 I'm hoping this can pick up the mantle and keep the action sim farming genre alive.

Apparently there's a friendship system but no romance, which seems weird.

This looks like it'll be worth playing just to experience the world.
I just realized after all this time, Square Enix never did make any Final Fantasy Farming. Was the closest we got before this the Orchard in Legend of Mana?
