I am all for pushing for alternative energy sources for future cars, but taking a truly classic vehicle and ripping the original powertrain out of it feels like sacrilege in my book. The percentage of cars that old still on the road is vanishingly small, and converting them to electric is not going to combat emissions in any meaningful way. Leave classics as classics, and invest in much better alternatives for cars that are actual daily drivers.
