I've only seen the movies but I loved girl-type Ranma, especially the super-cute voice Ranma would use intentionally.
I also liked her Momiji from Blue Seed. Maybe her Nuku-Nuku, too, but I haven't seen it in awhile so I'm not sure.
As for theme songs, I'm sure there are lots I like, but currently the opening for Abenobashi is my favorite.

Megumi has such a great range and quality to her voice, it is hard to ignore her talent. I still find her voice as Rei to be a pivot to Eva, providing extreme emotional depth in very even tones. Her roles as Lina, Ranma, and Nukunuku are just remarkble in bringing their energy across. But by far, I find her singing to be hauntling beautiful. The orchestrial version of Sakura Saku(OP: Love Hina) is perhaps the best performance I have ever heard, while Anata no kokoro ni (ED:Abeno) is something that sticks with me in my heart.

Lina Inverse and Lime (Saber J) are far and away my favourites.
I have most of her cds but my favourites are all of the Slayers themes.
I wonder what will happen to Conan/shaman King when she leaves for the torture of child rearing...

I love her work in Shaman King. She speaks in such a dry monotone, it's amazing how she is still able to convey the emotion of her character.

Yes, it was a Hayashibara spoof, IIRC.

Honestly, I've only seen one or two of the animes she voiced. I usually watch anime if I like the story...not because of a particular voice actor. It's nice to have talented voice actors behind a piece you are watching, but I guess I don't watch her animes. The only possible anime I've heard her in was Faye Valentine in Cowboy Bebop I think. I liked her work in that.

Are you certain? She is in a lot of anime in supporting roles. Even Yu-Yu and Pokemon.

Not a real big fan of hers... (like Aya Hisakawa better) but I think I like her best as Nuku Nuku in the original Bannou Bunka Neko Musume Nuku Nuku, though her performance in NGE as Rei Ayanami really proved her versatility to me.
I'm not as impressed in her songs, but the ED to Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai is simply great... I love that tune. The OP to Nuku Nuku Dash! is one of my favorites of her's as well....

I absolutley loved her doing Faye Valentine in Cowboy Bebop. I couldn't imagine Faye without her voice. I'll never understand someone wanting to hear the english voices instead of her's
I also enjoyed her doing Rei's voice in Eva as well.

She is one of my favorites, I loved her as Lina and Faye Valentine and Haruka. She also did the voice of Hieda Kurako in Asagiri No Miko.

I've been a Hayashibara fan almost as long as I've been an anime fan. I first discovered her music way back when I was big into DBZ, and later realized just how prolific of a voice actress she is.
As for favourite roles...hard to say. There are too many great ones to pick from (Lina, Rei, Faye, etc.). After just watching some of 3x3 Eyes though, I can say I'm quite impressed by her work as Pai; going from the ultra-cute Pai to the rather menacing Sanjiyan is impressive in itself (speaking of which, has anyone else noticed how she's basically landed the lead role in all three of Yuzo Takada's best-known creations? Blue Seed, Nuku Nuku, and 3x3 Eyes?).
Oh. and if you want more proof of her vocal range, go listen to the song "Pararira Paradise." It's cute...but also freaky that she can do a voice that high.

Megumi, I have always liked her work I just can't remember hearing her voice in all the myriad anime I've seen but one thing is clear, her song for slayers Midnight Blue is my absoulte favorite.

Megumi is often overlooked for her heartwarming and cheerful contribution as Ai-chan, in the Video Girl Ai OVA series. I wish they would resume this series with another OVA series or start a tv series with the same character designs and voice actors. Personally, that is my favorite series that Megumi worked on, it is especially nice to watch something where she does not portray a bitch.
