I am surprised that Shigeno choose to make another series since I thought his health condition isn't really on the best one.

I'll always be salty that Mako and Iketani never got together, but I'm interested in knowing more about what happened to her after Initial D, assuming Subaru is related to her.

If its a prequal, is the female Subaru Takumi's mother? After giving the AE86 to Takumi he did switch to an Impreza.
