I'll say this again: if any ANN forumite that knows anyone that are fans of Bae Doona's work, then get them to watch the film when it comes out in selected theaters (assuming the theater they live nearby is playing this film).
Hopefully with a 4K UHD blu-ray release and with Dolby Vision HDR I assume. I hope the blu-ray/4K UHD BD comes with a recent interview with Bae Doona talking about her time and what was it like taking on a role back then as a special feature given that she's now more well-known and more famous now compared to 2005-2007 (where K-drama is still much more niche than anime back then, and no I'm not making this up, and this was before Crunchyroll started to add K-drama titles in their catalog back in 2009), that would be a nice special feature for this home video release assuming GKIDs were able to get an interview with her. |

Whoa take it easy, I wasn't asking ANN. I was just asking out loud and I don't know how you can ask or forward GKIDS those questions, could you show me how??? |

I hope whatever 4K release also has regular blu-ray. I don't have a player or a TV that's 4K capable! I will someday though, but I want to watch this new release!

This film got a lot of attention back in the day because the concert footage sure looked like it was used by Kyoto Animation as inspiration for the concert scene in The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, which is why I sought it out to see. And it was enjoyable for that alone.
But even better, it introduced me to the Blue Hearts. Definitely getting the home release (assuming my Blu-ray player will play it). |

And I highly doubt they'll respond back to me, or because they're buried and bombarded by questions and post replies to them. I highly doubt they'll see my questions. So I'm not going to ask them on BlueSky because I know they'll ignored my questions. |
