Episode 4 is the one time in all my history of watching anime I wished I was watching live action instead. When the orchestra started up as she was about to whoop-ass I already knew it was gonna look bad compared to what it could with a bigger budget. Could've been an amazing choreography :/
Ah well, I agree though that it is still worth watching; the dialogue is generally snappy (the auction background lines were so on the nose evil, but it added more to the fun when she beat the crap outta people), there is interesting characters, and shitty people getting their comeuppance |

LIDEN is also working on Cat's Eye and Tojima. I'm afraid doing three projects in one season is starting to take a toll on the animators' bodies. Or perhaps they have different teams handle each show, and this one got the shorter end of the stick. In any case, it's unfortunate. |

Something that took me out of the story a little at the beginning is that in episode 2 it's established that with Scarlet's cracked super power, the kingdom REALLY wants her in their fold, and she could probably get away with pretty much anything. So why did she put up with prince douche-bag's abuse? She could have probably pummeled him daily and as long as she didn't actually kill him no one would have said a word about it.
