I thought Luca will be voiced by Tomokazu Seki.

Apart from Nanami (who looks slightly more... open), everything else looks pretty faithful to the game.

Ok, so it’s based on the second game. Which was more an original story as opposed to the first which tried to be a somewhat loose adaptation of The Water Margin. I guess this gives them more flexibility.

Weird how in the past few years we've had a Castlevania animated series and now a Suikoden anime. Give us an MGS by Madhouse, world

This looks... okay, though some of Fumi Ishikawa's designs have been hit by the modern anime stick harder than others (looking at you Gengen)

So, they went with Ayumu Murase for Luc in this one instead of Jun Fukuyama. Uh-huh.

HOLY MOLY! THEY WENT WITH JINSHI AND BOCCHI AS SHU AND APPLE??

I thought so too. I knew something was off when they teased Luca's voice a week or two ago.

Best of luck to Yashiro-san. He is going to need it. Seki-san's performance as Luca was so legendary it would have been one hell of a pair of shoes to fill in.

Yashiro Taku is my current obsession so my jaw dropped to the floor when I saw this... Anime hyper

I LOVE Seki's Luca, he did an astonishing job, and I have faith in Takuchan, but... he has pretty high stakes.

I'm pretty sad that all Drama CD seiyuus (except for Viktor and Flik) are being replaced, so now I'm wondering who'll voice Seed, Culgan or Gorudo. Also, I'm dying to now who will be in charge of the OP and ED!

They had him in the Drama CDs as well, but it was by Tomoko Kaneda, a female VA best known for her very high pitched voice and characters. But in the anime, it's by a man, so it would be interesting to hear what his take on Mukumuku would be like.

I don't think they will have Nina in the anime, but it would be certainly interesting if they have her in. I am looking forward to hearing of Seed, Culgan, Gordeau (yes, that's how they spell Gorudo now), Miklotov, Camus, the Circus Trio, Freed and Yoshino.

Well, since Greenhill is an important arc in the game, who knows?

I know he's not in the game, but I kinda wonder if Nash will make an early appearance.
