I liked the story much more when it was a slice of life Eurocomic instead of the weird supernatural murder mystery it turned into. And there is no logical endpoint and a sub-volume a year release schedule.
Ran and the Gray World should have gotten an anime instead.

No freakin way!! This is the only manga I read completely sight-unseen because I just buy the physical volumes as they come out (one volume every year and a half or whatever LOL), compared to all the Shonen Jump stuff I'm into that's simulpubbed every week. I was just wondering the other day that surely it's still going even though the last English release was last April.
That's super exciting, I'm definitely looking forward to it. Hope it's as atmospheric as the manga is.

Oh, that's exciting news, I really like the manga a lot, and I'm hoping they get a good background art team in particular for it, as there's some stunning vistas to be had.

I'm looking forward to this one! I'm enjoying the story so far. It's a nice mix of slice of life and supernatural elements. However, I completely agree with the user who said that 'Ran and the Grey World' should have been adapted into an anime.
