The first half of the episode is literally Fujita dragging around Ebisu's body, and people seeing her like some broken appliance. I love it. When's the last time you watched an anime making comedy out of a dead body like that? This is priceless.
Things are getting spicy from the second half of the episode, though. Exciting times ahead.

Season 2, Episode 9
It is probably really strange to say it at this point, but does this show really want us to give a damn that En is dead? There was absolutely nothing redeemable about the guy, and even if the cleaners are kind of personality likable it just feels like they are more hateable in trying to bring En back.
In great span of things, it feels like we are a distance away from the start with the hole, which showed the sorcerers as just the worst.

I would give a damn if Johnson dies. Don't ask me why, because I don't know why, either.

I can't believe that the next episode will be the last one. There's got to be another season after this. There are still so many questions.

I gotta be honest: I'm having a helluva time following this. I mean, I'm thoroughly enjoying the spectacle and zaniness of it all, but I have no idea what's going on. Part of the problem is my inability to remember names for longer than it takes to hear or read them, and there are a zillion names to remember (this is also a rl problem). On top of that, several characters keep changing how they look, so while I have a vague notion that person x is also person y, I can't rely on either names or appearance to sort them out. When characters talk about another character, at least half the time I have no idea who they mean. So I'm also unsure which characters are aware that some characters are also other people and which are unaware they're talking about the same person.
I need a flow sheet with names and pictures, but if such even exists it would undoubtedly be full of spoilers. Other than that I don't think there's anything I can do about this. I'll still watch the next season if I can.

Yeah, it has become pretty unmanageable to keep track of character, especially since the story left Hole and every character has multiple different looks, that you cannot even trust a character having a defining feature to keep them apart.

Final:
7/10.
I don't have strong opinions about this show. The show is like one big weird rollercoaster ride that I simply enjoy. At its core, it is still a crime comedy with supernatural horror elements. Crazy things keep happening, and the outro for every episode suggests just that: you just don't know what happens next.
The next season has already been confirmed, so that's great. Hopefully we don't have to wait six years for it, like this season. Don't make us wait that long again, please. I enjoy this show too much.

Love this show. 9/10 for me. If it's any comfort, Gina, the anime is a model of clarity and easy to followness compared to the manga. There will be a third season and I don't know if that will end the adaptation or not, but it gives me hope that a full version of the 23-volume manga will be provided at the end of the day. I do miss Caiman, though, as I did in the manga.
