On the page where visitors rate this week's episodes an "Edit" option is offered next to each episode. Actions like "change episode title" and "push episode date back a week" are visible. I wouldn't risk disrupting your site by testing if the options allow me to make changes, but at the least that menu shouldn't be visible to normal visitors.
If you guys could use a hand with occasional bug fixes feel free to reach out to me. I'm a quick bug crusher. Page with issue: animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime/episodes/2026-05-22#ep32716-8 Screenshot of issue: https://imgur.com/a/Lb9bLVJ |

As far as I know, this is more like an error report than an editing function. I've actually used this feature before, but it didn't seem to cause any immediate changes. I assume someone with administrative privileges has to manually approve any edits.

Speaking of error reporting, a button is offered for that too, but after taking the time to fill out the steps to report a problem, the error reporting feature itself displays an error message telling you it doesn't work and you need to go to this forum to report problems. For bonus points the forum url it directs you to isn't a clickable link. I had to write it down with a pen.
If this is the place to report problems now, then clicking the problem reporting button should just take you here. No reason for it to show the old broken form. This kind of little stuff is very easy to tidy up. |

When it works (and it's working for me right now), the error report form provides us with significantly more information that you would be able to provide in this forum. We'll look into the issue and try to get it fixed, as well as make that link clickable.

I only wish it was that easy. The problem with the problem reporting button is now fixed, it was a truly hellish bug that involved 2 days of debugging to find that the order in which we loaded two unrelated files was causing a misconfiguration under a specific version of OpenSSL because of a hidden dependency.
Good point about the forum url that is just a message and not clickable link, but it was meant to be a last-resort fallback for something that "shouldn't happen". *sigh* |
