Sure, considering they lost every suit not named Gurren in one episode.

Did you even look? I cant speak or read Japanese and I still found out that they are in addiction to Gurren. But i have to agree with everyone here 1) wont be as overpowering as it was, and 2) Shouldn't be come a bigger gun contest.
BTW What does Gurren mean? Because its also in Gurren Laggen. Does it have something to do with mecs? or is it just happenstance.

IIRC 'Crimson' (which makes since considering the color scheme of the Gurren)

Actually he or she was probabally refering to the fact that the rest of the Black Knights' major players got their butts whooped and their suits destroyed/heavily damaged in the last episode and that the upgraded Gurren was the only one that could hold it's own instead and commenting that they weren't surprised that there were upgrades comming for the demolished suits.

Just seen the extended preveiw for episode 7, and I have to say this is going to be exactly like Spider-Man 2. Lelouch will decided that he is ''Zero no more'' until Rolo gives him the usual spech and we all know what happens next. Oh and just like the movie, he also gets the red haired girl (bey bey Shirley). Its not that I hate the whole cocept but this sort of episodes have been in every single mecha show I seen. But its better to get it out of the way as soon as possiable.
About episodes 9 and 10 they seem to center around the CF. We might then discover why the emprese resemples Mao so much then and get some screen time for Xingke Ri

We probably must have watched rather different kinds of mecha shows, but then again this is coming from someone who doesn't even remember that movie, so...
Also, the general turn of events is (or seems, whatever applies) predictable, but the details could still be different.

I don't see that resemblance, really, so it could go either way...but I'll wait, nevertheless.

I don't see much resemblance either, but now that it's been brought up
-Mao was Chinese
-Geass is the "Power of the King"
we still don't Know what "Power of the King" means but it could have something to do with having to belong to a royal family
(we don't know enough about Rollo to say who he is and I don't remember if we heard anything about Mao's parentage)

I think the mao thing is peoples wishful thinking-like peoples subconcous the internet is a hive of things that people fantasies about.
I to think that Lelouch is going to have a bought of depression but then again he has a problem he has to deal with someone he cares about being on the other side again and its the person that he was fighting for its not an easy moment and dispite all his talk, and the stuff he has done-much of it would classify him as a demonic monster- Lelouch is still a human and he has all the emontional baggage that comes with it after what happend in the last episode he needs to take a min. to get his head on staight, he also needs to realize that now he has more than one person he's fighting for. There are others who need him and depend on him he can't simply give up being zero its a part of Who he has become.
im just can't wait to see this one

I've hoping for some meaningful Lelouch and Kallen scenes this episode.. and less Lelouch and Rolo scenes...

Episode 7
-Epic speech is epic
-Nunnally offers to reform the Special Administration Zone
-Kaguya wants to form a harem with C.C and Kallen, total win.
-C.C talks to Marianne again
-Lelouch wants comfort only a woman can provide but Kallen doesn't want to kiss Lelouch in this situation and slaps some sense into him, lays some verbal smackdown and runs away. Lelouch goes to run after her after realizing he fucked up but... up pops Rolo stopping him. Kallen stops running after a while to look back too :(
-I'm really looking forward to Rolo's death scene this series.
-So Lelouch armed with a map and a communicator can somehow tell the precise location of the submarine.. just like episode 4 I'm left rolling my eyes
-Zero accepts Nunnally offer to reform the Special Administration Zone
Slow episode which probably would've been better off without the absurd action scene, even though it's obvious Kallen wanted that kiss good on her for not taking it in that situation. Some nice development for her and lelouch's relationship.

Good development this episode. Some redemption and realization for lelouch. Still has a lot of explaining for him to do for the Black Knights, and he is still treading a thin line. Haven't seen the Chinese Federation for a bit, will see how they play their role soon. Things should finally kick into gear in an episode or 2.

7 was a pretty good episode. Lulouche trying to seduce Kallen was pretty shocking and quite awesome since I'm rooting for that pairing. It was pretty obvious that she wanted it bad, but not when he was like that. Or maybe she just wants him to wear the Zero costume next time? Also Kaguya's comments to Kallen and CC were priceless. What the heck was up with Lulouche trying to stick himself? What was in that I wonder drugs or was he going to kill himself maybe?

He wasn't trying to kill himself. He just wanted to get high as it were. He said that the syringe contained Refrain. [Refrain was first covered in season one.] It is an illegal illegal narcotic that makes people think they're reliving the past, hence Lelouch's comment about it "bringing back the past."
