This is a topic based on mangas that get you utterly involved within them then they end. We all know we would like them to go on forever, but they just stop. Then you feel as if a peice inside of you is missing. A void, you may call it. I have dubbed it "Manga Lag". This is a condition induced by the reading of extreme series manga. Such as Love Hina, Chobits, ect. All those mangas that have in upwards of over 5 in their series.

This board lets all of you out there with "Manga Lag" to let know you are not alone.I myself experience "Manga Lag" I had just recently finished Love Hina, and this gaping hole is now just existing within me. Sucking at my organs, pulling them lowly into oblivion. After reading Chobits, I experienced "Manga Lag" untill I began to read Love Hina. After that the void Chobits left was filled.....Untill Love Hina ended Sad .....After Love Hina the void was bigger than ever, I am waiting now for my external body itself to be sucked withn this void...... Sad Untill then I post......

Yeah...I experience that, but what's worse is when your favorite character dies. When spoiler[Nuriko dies], I felt like I wanted to quit reading FY, since he was gone...

Hmm... Angel Sanctuary had me like this for a while. After 20 volumes, and so many characters, and an awesome story, the last chapter was so hard to read because I didn't want it to be over. Luckily the creator had more manga I could replace it with.

Finishing the Sailor Moon manga really made me fell that lag stuff. I finished the manga about... 2 years ago I suppose, after being a fan of the series for over, and well... it's sad when your faveorite series end, especially if you were one of the die hard fans. I find things to replace it with temporaily, but nothing will ever come close to my first manga/anime.

I think the lag will be happening with me when I read the end of Count Cain, also by the person who did Angel Sanctuary. The manga just recently ended in Japan, so now I know the end is coming to my reading, and I really really love Count Cain.

And even though it's not over yet, the Matantei Manga will definatly be taking a part of me when it goes. I love that manga more then Cain I believe, and ugh... the anime ending already had me depressed for weeks. >.< I don't want to think about what the manga ending will do to me.

When I finished Cowboy Bebop Shooting S vol. 2 yesterday, I wanted to read more but I couldnt! An anime that I didn't want to end was Spirited Away, but that doesn't count as manga.

Why do they have to end.....Love Hina, Chobits.....I am a true Hard-core fan. The only thouight keeping me sane is the thought of a continuation...I know it won't happen but if I keep telling myself it is possable.... Anime cry oh the cruel fate of a fan......

I agree w/ the Angel Sanctuary thing, and as with the manga, the anime ended abruptly, because I'm pretty sure they never did the second tape.....

Btw, I love your icon! Tsunade-sama is sooo cool! Anime hyper

Heheh, thanks. Someone actually recognizes her. I'm surprised. I can't wait till she shows up in the anime. At least they show her back in the new opening.

Tsunade should be showing up in the next set of episodes I hope. She's such a cool character. *Ahem* But now is not the time to go into a Naruto conversation. I felt some lag after reading Love Hina, but then I replaced it with Chobits. I felt a huge lag after finishing GTO though....it made me so sad Sad

AAArghha... manga-lag after love hina left me reading fanfiction for weeks... and just waiting for Negima! vol. 2 is making me insane. I also felt a little lag after Eva but also sorta completed. But yea, LH definately was the worst lag evar.

I experienced that with a number of manga. Love Hina probably hit me the hardest. Talk about a rushed ending. They closed all options for spoiler[Keitaro to do anything more with any of the other girls who would have been worthwhile but Naru] who I hated by, by the half of the 14th book! Mad And didn't even leave room for a decent spinoff unless possibly Motoko meets Kenshin or something. lol

[/spoiler]

It just goes to show you that it's Akumatsu's story, and not yours to do with as you please. Frankly, I saw it as more of a tale that spoiler[shows love must overcome the views of those outside of the relationship and any other obstacles that may come].

The worse example of manga-lag has to be Shirow - He was going to continue the Dominion Conflict series after a new project.
That Project was Ghost In The Shell, and eight years on, we still haven't heard about Dominion Conflict 2 Sad

Manga Lag, I've not experienced it yet but eventually I will, I have been downloading Naruto off the internet and thinking... *Why does it have to end can't it just go on forever?*
Don't you just hate Manga Lag!? Evil or Very Mad
