So like:
Mx0
Double Arts
Two very fun reads. Just when things got interesting and character development was at a high, both were dropped by their respective magazines. The Elevens deemed it uninteresting and kicked it to the curb. I RAGEd like there was no tomorrow.
Something like this ever happen to you all? Or maybe there was a fun read from the past and you're not too sure as to why the releases stopped.
Let us discuss/appreciate these series, BAWW about them, and even suggest healthy alternatives relevant to the genre.

Zombie Powder
Bus Gamer
Wild Adapter
These are all very good and even with their current status I still recommend them.

OMG!!!! someone actually knows of Wild Adapter then me.
i love this manga series. I should be getting Vol. 6 soon.
As for me i would have to say the Record of Lodoss War series. There different series out there and span from the 80 to stuff just a few years ago. If you like fantasy manga and liked the anime from the 90s then there an awesome read.

I am confuuussed! At the brevity of the description and examples in the first post, Confused!!!
But, going based on what I think they mean, I was rather upset to learn that Beet the Vandel Buster didn't go beyond 12 volumes leaving the story unfinished in the process! I was quite enjoying myself and the cast had just started this huge "knock off the bad guy or convert them 1 by 1" arc that I've never gotten to read or see the end of. They didn't pick a particularly good place to stop and I had always enjoyed reading Beet because...well it simply felt like what I would imagine an RPG to read as, where they still acknowledge leveling up and things like that.
To some extent, Phoenix which was completely published in the states, but Osamu Tezuka had a basic idea of something for the next story in the Phoenix series and the way that the series is set up highly implied for time to keep closing closer and closer together until it hit the present. But Osamu Tezuka died and some consider Phoenix incomplete as a result. I think that what there is (and there is a lot of it) is all amazing and excellent (except for the Nostalgia chapter which I think fell shorter than the rest and the Karma and Resurrection chapters that stood above the rest for me), but heck yeah! I'd want another volume!

There's nothing that's actually been dropped for me in terms of a series' cancellation in Japan, but there have been two "casualties" in my case which are currently in indefinite hiatus: Cromartie High School, and Unbalance X Unbalance.

You didn't know that Aria is now being brought out by Tokyopop?

Now that you mention it, I remember there being an issue with the most recent volume being delayed for some reason (at least IIRC there is an "actual" reason behind it), but it should still be coming out. At least it's not like Suppli, Gundam: Ecole du Ciel or the other various titles that got screwed over and are still on indefinite hiatus.

Well, ADV had licensed Gamerz Heaven. I mean, it wasn't that great, but the manga squeezed a lot of laughs out of me.

If it weren't for scanlations, I would never have gotten to read more of "Eatman".
Back in the day, Viz didn't release a whole manga series over time..they brought over maybe one or two volumes and that was it.
For years I sat with only two volumes of Eatman :*( Luckily had the anime to tide me over, but it wasn't enough really.
Not sure who the publisher was, but I wish the rest of "Gundam: Blue Destiny" would have been published here as well. : /

I was not a happy camper when Legal Drug, Under the Glass Moon (c'mon, there was only 1 volume left!), and Club 9 were mysteriously dropped.
But I was most saddened by the dropping of Honey Mustard. I loved that story, and I am very that I won't ever get to finish it.

Club 9 was completed in Super Manga Blast, but I do not know if Dark Horse released the final volume in graphic novel format.
I would love for Dark Horse to finish Shadow Star and Version. I would also love to see Raika completed. I also do not consider Rumic Theatre completed since there are still short stories of Takahashi that should be translated, not to mention Urusei Yatsura. I would also love to see more Orge Slayer.
