Does anyone know if Bandai has any plans to release a collection of the entire eureka seven series in America? All I can seem to find are either bootlegs, or apparently a complete collection is being released in Australia in February.
Thanks, Greg |

The only way you would know is if Bandai actually says something, and also ANN and all the other news sites confirm it. If Bandai isn't saying anything at this point then there's no telling whether it's even on their agenda. But yeah, it wouldn't be a good idea to get the bootlegs, because of quality and wasting your money on it in the first place.

I'd wait until after this weekend before doing anything as there is a con coming up and Bandai's supposed to be giving out some info. We'll probably see a set released in R1 before the end of the year.
If you have an region-free DVD player or a computer that can do the same trick, and if Bandai still hasn't said anything by then, you might want to consider the Australian set if you can't wait. While it would cost more and present shipping issues, the Australian (R4?) releases are fairly in line with the R1 releases. I doubt you'll lose any series content if you got that. Probably less costly to wait for Bandai's R1 release though. Please don't buy bootlegs, they are like stabbing your best friend in the back. |
