people who drive mercedes in japan watch anime?
I think they are going for the lupin feel I've not heard of the A class before but I guess its an entry level sport hatchback I remember that one they made 10 years ago with the glass roof but I never ended up paying too much attention |

Buying anime in Japan is an expensive hobby. So this niche group is worth targeting with an entry level Mercedes at least

Wow, the A-class has changed a lot since its first generation or two... It looks significantly better (although the twin-engine 1st-gen model might have been fun). ^^ |

I would have thought the demographics for anime and Mercedes cars would be completely different, but maybe they're marketing this for a younger crowd.

I expected nothing less from Production I.G. This was a VERY well produced piece. The animation was top quality, and the CGI and the hand-drawn was nicely seamless. Loved it.

A class is not sold in america, that's why I've never seen it lol
mercedes has lost tons of business to lexus with regards to younger people over the years |

Yeah, I've mostly only seen them when I've taken trips to Europe, but I have seen one or two of the older A-class models here in California when they were being used as fuel-cell testbeds.
That was my thought. Are you saying that it's not an actual option? ;p Maybe the seats move every time the car comes to a stop... |
