We all know that L' arc en ciel sung most of the songs in anime.
What do you think of them. Are the other bands just copying their style? Do you think Hyde is the best vocalist and lyricist of all times?

We wouldn't go too far to say he's the best, but he's pretty good and very good-looking, according to one of our staff people.

I would have to say whil L'Arc-en-Ciel has been featured in a number of popular anime series over the years (most noteably FullMetal Alchemist) I would however disagree that they sing "most songs in anime".
As for what I think of them, while I do believe that they are over-rated, the band does have a decent sound, and a number of their songs are on my iPod. It's really impossible to tell whether or not anyone truely "copies" them or not, seeing as how muscians, as all artists, are influenced by all sorts of things, however, I would agree that there are bands with a similar "feel". And no, I do not believe that Hyde is either the best vocalist or lyricist...sorry... |
