Ya know, if you could convince the attendants that your name was "Shinji Ikari", "Asuka Langley Sohryu", or "Rei Ayanami", then I bet you could sell that "resident certificate" for enough to more than cover the airfare to fly there <,<;;

Does mastering technology really make massive leaps every few months or do these guys poorly master things on purpose?

Keep in mind that when you're trying to rush a feature-length animated film into theaters, you're not going to have nearly enough time to make every little adjustment you want.

Also, unlike the first film, they're not doing two home video releases (at least for the forseeable future).
