Good to hear the dvds will be uncut. I didn't realize there was anything there to consider cutting, then again I haven't watched the show. I'm hoping Funimation can release a blu ray of this around the same time.

There's really no excuse for ever having a cut or censored DVD release anyways, so this news just keeps the torches and pitchforks in their proper places for awhile. Until the next rumor of censoring comes around I guess

That was my thought as well. I didn't think this show needed to be cut or edited or anything.
Maybes it's just a way to get people to buy something. Labeling it as Uncut could bring in more people thinking it's extreme or something. Like how every movie that comes out these days has a Unrated cut even if it was PG-13 to begin with. |

Some comments on AniDB say that there is some nudity in some scenes. But I don't really know for sure, I've never seen the show myself.

Nice to hear this is coming out in the fall of this year. I found it to be an entertaining little show. Nothing ground-breaking, nothing that will rock your world and make you re-evaluate your entire existence...just pretty solidly entertaining. (Lisa was so kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!) I'll buy it.

There was some nude scenes with boobs in the DVD/BD version, and I think that's the one that FUNi got.

Is the green girl in that image picking her nose? If I were Funimation, I'd definitely cut that out for American release. How unseemly!

Wait, what!! What was Sacred Blacksmith censored for? If it's nudity, then I don't understand what's up with Funimation with that. Didn't another anime, Sekirei which Funimation licensed was uncensored on Youtube and Funi's video portal when they put that up. What makes Sacred Blacksmith nudity different from Sekirei nudity. Did Sacred Blacksmith had any naked child or something?
