Wow... Senko no Night Raid is just awful, dead last for the Kanto area.

It looks like the "Anime no Chikara" project has been quite a failure, at least thus far.

Also, I find it funny that a simple "Nakama Whereabouts" episode of One Piece could be the second highest rated animation program in the Kanto region.

Agreed, that episode of One Piece was nothing special. Something like a filler. But it was good regardless (who'd expect to see Sanji doing that lol). Though I'd be happier to see the story moving along, as this arc is dragging out for way too long, and it doesn't feel like it's any near to a conclusion. (How long has it been, anyway?)

Did Major lose it's old time slot or something? Or did the people in Japan finally lose interest in epic saga of Goro?

A One Piece arc dragging out for way too long? And where have you been the past... Oh wait, the arcs have been dragging out ever since the first one, haven't they? If you're going to start complaining about something, complaining about the length of the arcs doesn't really make any sense when you're talking about One Piece, now does it?

In comparison, though, I'd say this one isn't THAT long, as it can be split into the events at Impel Down and the upcoming war, which in turn will be totally badass and make it feel even shorter. Very Happy

I think two things serve as factors in the sudden disappearance of Major in the ratings list:

1. Moving from NHK General TV to NHK-E (also known as ETV), which is a sister station of NHK. There must be something in the nature of the ETV network that would cause Major to barely have any public report on its ratings. Heck, Thhyon's post on anime ratings didn't even include anime series being aired in ETV.

2. Detective Conan, its current competition in the timeslot, definitely affected their ratings ever since it moved to Saturdays last year. Before Conan moved, Major would be in the top 10 list during the early part of Season 5. But once Conan moved to Saturdays, Major disappeared in the top 10. If I were living in Japan, I would definitely be confused as to whether I'd watch Detective Conan or Major.

Well, I did watch all episodes up to 400 in a short timespan, so back then each arc didn't feel really long. And yes, in a sense I'm complaining because they never had the spoiler[straw hats] separated like this, and to me this arc started as soon as they were separated (yes, about the same time he discovered thatspoiler[ his brother was to be executed]). But yeah, as soon as they get to the Headquarters there won't be a single complaint from me anymore. Razz
