Only in Japan can a comic about microorganisms top the charts Anime hyper
But good job on Natsume Yuujincho on getting #2, maybe this will mean a 3rd season of the anime will not be completely out of the picture.

I'm utterly shocked by Kuroshitsuji. Previous volumes sold over a million copies, and yet Volume 9 is struggling to get to 600,000. Has it really dropped in popularity that much?

I know that this arc isn't liked very much because spoiler[of Sebastian's "death"], but for the sales to be cut in half over it?

Ermm, no.

I just checked the ANN articles for the weekly Japanese ranking and vol. 6-8 of Kuroshitsuji always seemed to be at around 500,000 copies when exiting the list. So it has pretty much stood still in popularity.

If I recall correctly, each season of Natsume and the book of friends used 3 manga volumes so there are now 4 volumes with unused material, sounds like enough for a third season to me!

I had no idea Minami-ke had a manga. That needs to be licensed ASAP along with the first season. Throw the manga for High School of the Dead in there as well.

Yes, I love that Minami-ke beat out Vampire Knight (adding in the limited edition sales of Minami-ke), and the first season was absolutely hilarious. I'd love to own it, but I'd settle for the manga.
