I'm interested in what Video Game, Film, TV Show, or even Western Comic you would like to see turned into an anime.
I also wouldn't mind knowing who you would like to work on it, who should compose or any other conditions you'd have set. I would love to see these following things turned into anime:
1. Star Wars
I would prefere it if they'd base it on the New Republic. No more TV media or anything based on the Old Republic. I've not got my hands on the Dark Empire Trilogy but the premise is good, and I think that'd be a great start. I'd rather make sure they'd use themes from the New and Old triology which were of course composed by John Williams. Also wouldn't mind if they just based it on the X - Wing comics...or even a Boba Fett spin off (and make sure its by the same guys who did Cowboy Bepop)
-No fanservice
-Keep things as serious as they were
-No typical over the top humour (the interaction between chewie and everyone else is good enough)
-No Midichlorians mentioned...ever! (Just for the record I don't hate the New Triology)
-No Jar Jar (Yes, in the re-release you hear him in the end of ROTJ so it'll always be an excuse to shove him in if Lucas was incharge)
-Mr Plinkett guest star! (Nah just kidding)
-Not a series but 3 feature length films
2.James Cameron's Avatar
I'm gonna keep this one brief. I loved the movie only for the visuals. (and the track James Horner provided) I'd be interested an anime series to be made of it. It would be fun provided the animation is perfect. Love to get to know the characters a little bit more y'know.
3.Inception
It was such a brilliant film. Probably one of my top 10 favourite movies of all time. The creators of Ergo Proxy has to be in charge of this! I think it would make a great anime series. Telling stories of the things before the film obviously. Kenji Kawai should do the music in my opinion. I'd like the tone and seriousness of it would be the same as the film.
4.Dynasty
For those who have never seen or heard of it, it was a 1980s soap opera, which was very powerful stuff until Season 4. Here is the storyline before I get started
"The saga of a wealthy Denver family in the oil business: Blake Carrington, the patriarch; Krystle, his former secretary and wife; his children: Adam, lost in childhood after a kidnapping; Fallon, pampered and spoiled; Steven, openly gay; and Amanda, hidden from him by his ex-wife, the conniving Alexis. Most of the show features the conflict between 2 large corporations, Blake's Denver Carrington and Alexis' ColbyCo." - IMDB
The Rivalry between Alexis and Blake was just immense. They had cheesy yet addictive storylines. It was a very entertaining series, and shoudln't be taken too seriously if anyone who'd watch it. If you'd watch it I hope you'll see why I'd like this to be an anime. They had very interesting characters. It would be a good drama/comedy.
5. Batman (Legend of the Dark Knight Series)
Under the conditions that, its very violent, and very dark and serious. They should make an anime based on these series of comics. The Legend of the Dark Knight series was the more serious/violent Batman comics, which had no Robin and barely (or non that I remember) of the typical Batman villians. I'd also love it if they made an anime film based on the Graphic Novel "Faces" which scared the living daylights out of me when I was a child. If Shirley Walker was alive, I'd love her to do the music(She did Batman: Mask fo Phantasm). Otherwise just use tracks from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
6.Robocop (A film)
Robocop. 100% Cyberpunk. One of my Favourite films ever. I can go on about how magnificent it is, and why the creators of Ghost in the Shell should work on it. They'd get it perfect. I'm not saying they should remake it, they should just do an anime Sequel. ALSO the script should be written by Paul Verhoeven (the creator of Robocop) , and it should be as hyperviolent like the first film. Kenji Kawai would provide a magnificent soundtrack, or just using the track from the old Robocop film. (If Leonard Rosenman was alive I'd elect him to provide the score like he did in Robocop 2, I don't care if he self plagerises, the sound he makes is awesome...maybe I just want to hear more stuff from him due to the nostalgic value)
