I guess the digital download NA version didn't do well enough for Bandai Namco to announce another digital release...yet.

The first game was way too expensive for a digital download. Most downloadable games are usually half the price of the disk counterparts even a few months after release, but for Pirate Warriors to be $50 is just ridiculous.
But needless to say, Pirate Warriors 2 is going to make its way across the sea some months after its out in Japan if for no other reason than One Piece's popularity.
