Wow, about 60% of the audience is over 40 and about 80% is over 30. It's like a geriatric convention.

well I am 37y/o and I have my fingers crossed for an american release of this film, of course this show appeals to an older generation who grew up on the anime,

we have to remember that we had a Yamato drought for about 12 years that's quite a few generations that didn't grow up with it.

Well, nostalgia is one thing, but it's another thing to be like your parents' disco party.
80's remakes like Transformers and GI Joe appealed across the demographics despite some young folks having never seen the cartoons ever.

On average is it successful movie for the size of its release?
I realize were not likely to see it over here despite house beautiful it appears. (Like problems with Copyright, like Macross/Robotech).
