The Road to the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Starts in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

Duelists can take part in a 2-stage qualifier for WCS 2026, alongside a special Yu Gi Oh! MASTER DUEL campaign

LOS ANGELES – June 4, 2026 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KONAMI) today announces that the Road to Worlds! Campaign begins in Yu Gi Oh! MASTER DUEL. Duelists can take part in a two-stage qualifier, earn their team a place at the Yu Gi Oh! World Championship 2026 (WCS 2026) and contend for the title of best team in the world. In celebration of the start of the qualifiers, Yu Gi Oh! MASTER DUEL has launched a special campaign featuring amazing rewards.

Intense Duels are expected throughout the first stage of the qualifiers with Duelists that reach DLv. 20 then progressing onto the Regional Qualifiers. A select number of Duelists that make it to the top rankings of the Regional Qualifiers will then advance to the prestigious WCS 2026 to Duel for the title alongside 2 teammates in Tokyo, Japan.

Yu Gi Oh! MASTER DUEL Qualifiers:
*1st Stage: June 9-21 PST
*2nd Stage Regional Qualifiers: June 18-21 PST

Number of Teams qualifying from each region:
*Japan = 2
*EMEA+ ANZ = 1
*North America =1
*Latin America = 1
*Asia = 1

To commemorate the start of the qualifiers, Yu Gi Oh! MASTER DUEL launched a special in-game campaign, offering plenty of standout bonuses for Duelists. A variety of login bonuses are rewarded to Duelists, with the UR card Number C101: Silent Honor DARK (Royal Finish) being offered.
