Character Introductions
Game Creator — Daiki Shinjo / Hiromitsu Kitayama
Founder of “Shirosawa Games.” His debut title was a major hit that earned him the title of “genius creator,” but a string of failures followed.
He has two younger sisters. The youngest, Ruri, was a victim of an unsolved case 13 years ago in which six girls vanished in Akihabara — known as “The Akiba Vanishing.”
Cornered in his daily life, he bets on a comeback and declares he will make a game based on the real case that took his sister. Its title: “AKIBA LOST.”
Maid — Aoi Shinjo / Sayuri Matsumura
Shinjo's sister, working as the manager of a maid café in Akihabara.
She resented her brother for staying absorbed in game development even after the youngest of the three siblings, Ruri, disappeared, and the two have barely seen each other over the past 13 years. Since graduating high school, she has remained in Akihabara, the site of the case.
Usually a little cold in her responses, she occasionally shows a tsundere side that wins over many customers.
Game Streamer — Yukimi Kurahashi / Momoko Tanabe
She works as a designer at “Shirosawa Games,” and her love of games also led her to become a popular game streamer.
A huge fan of Shinjo's debut title “White Crash,” she practically forced her way into Shirosawa Games after moving to Tokyo. She looks up to Shinjo and co-founder Takazawa like older brothers.
The Tohoku accent that slips out now and then during streams is part of her charm with viewers.
Gourmet Writer — Moe Kurosu / Misato Ugaki
A gourmet writer who specializes in Akihabara, telling the city's story through food.
Once a genre-less writer, she became captivated by Akihabara's subculture about three years ago and now covers everything from long-established favorites to the latest trend cafés and unique eateries, all with her own perspective.
She pairs her personal style with carefully chosen accessories, but has a tomboyish personality and drives a rugged, beloved car.
Underground Idol — Kokone Nagato / Yui Oguri (AKB48)
An underground idol active in Akihabara, mainly performing at small live houses.
She belongs to the group “Baby☆Macaron.” With a full-on “the idol” vibe of calculated cuteness, her passion to make it big is second to none.
She switches clearly between on and off; in private she often wears high-brand clothes and accessories, unusual for an underground idol.
Shrine Maiden — Chihiro Jimbo / Azusa Ohara
A shrine maiden working part-time at Kanda Myojin, the shrine beloved as Akihabara's guardian deity.
An event in her childhood led her to believe in the gods and to feel deep gratitude toward the city of Akihabara.
In fact a big gamer, she clears even punishingly difficult action games with ease.
Calm and graceful in manner, her catchphrase is “It's divine…”
Cosplayer — Wakana Yusa / MINA (East Of Eden)
A cosplayer based in Akihabara.
She has staked everything on cosplaying a single character from the legendary game “Magical Elementary Schooler Lyrica,” released over ten years ago, embodying her love of Lyrica with her whole being.
She is in fact a returnee, fluent in English and at ease interacting with overseas tourists.
With a bright, free-spirited personality and outstanding people skills, she's racing full speed down the Lyrica-cosplay road again today.
Theme Song “BUGlitch”
The theme song is also used within the demo.
