Just recently, ANN started looking like this for me:
image 1 image 2 image 3 image 4 This started just recently (yesterday, or possibly the day before), and unfortunately, it seems to be a problem only with me. I'm on a PC with XP and using Firefox (3.6.13). I'm using adblock plus and noscript, but none of the ads on ANN are blocked (due to them being anime-related) and noscript only blocks google-analytics and doubleclick. Which shouldn't matter, because I had a friend of mine try the site, and it worked fine regardless of which browser she used. (Which was Opera and Firefox.) Edit: Forgot to mention that I also tried it on IE, and the site worked like normal there, so it's only with Firefox it's acting up. I do not have any other browsers installed. This is also how it looks for me. I run a Mac with Safari 5.0.2 and it started yesterday.

Try to disable adblock/noscript/other plugins.

Same problem for me, both IE8 and Firefox 3.6.13. I really hope this isn't a new site layout...if it is can we have an option to use the old one? For a start there's not even a link to the forum on the front page, I had to go to an article's comments and work back from there.
If it is the new layout, I'd also like to point out shoving all the editorial content down the bottom isn't the best idea. |

Same problem I mentioned here. Only had the problem on the machine in work on the office network (proxied), not on this machine here. Firefox there has no plugins that would cause it (just ietab, sync and logmein) and IE is locked down tight as a drum. On this machine on my home cable Chrome, IE and Firefox all work OK (but the latter are newer versions).

Strange. I'm fairly sure I don't have basically any plugins on Firefox on this machine. Given it was working 1-2 days ago it's very weird.
Edit: I've just deleted my temp files and cookies, it seems this has entirely resolved the layout issues. |

Well, I deleted my ANN cookies yesterday, which did nothing. I also tried the "disable plugin" route (as mentioned) as well as a restart, which also did nothing.
However, today the site seems to be working just fine even though I did... nothing. So... if you guys did something, thank you very much. |
