Just went today. It's been two days since they've opened, and ALL of the Idolm@ster karaoke contest tickets were out. I wanted to sing Overmaster! Ugh! I WANTED THAT TROPHY SIGNED BY THE SEIYUU.

And they didn't even list that they were out of tickets, so I spent 2000 yen, and they're like, OH SORRY WE'RE OUT. And it opened on a weekday, so I couldn't go!

The original arcade games of the Idolm@ster were also available to play, but it was so crowded over there I couldn't get near.

Oh, but one cool thing was that I got a free Joysound microphone and microphone decal for my 2000 yen purchase... Now all I have to do is purchase the Joysound for my PS3! No marketing there!

There's your problem right there. I'd guess the hardcore otaku were probably lined up overnight before opening day.
