JoJo slipped to #6. Its overall sales are still nice but are they nice enough to be considered respectable? I really, really want this to go well for David Production.

Considered respectable?Anything that sells above 10k is considered a hit,let alone 16,497.Of course we also need to account sails of DVDs(which were around 5k),sales of manga(sales Jojolion have risen a lot)and let us not not forget the merchandise kit (there is a lot of Jojo merchandise in this wrold my friend). So yeah I would say that is pretty respectable.

I didn't know manga sales had gone up since the anime started airing. I'm so excited for the possibility of David animating Part 3! (6 is endgame for me. Give me Jolyne or give me death.)

m0ar English translated Jojo's Bizarre Adventure manga pl0x. Oh yeah, and season 2 of the epic anime would be wonderful. If only they could up their animation so the fight scenes could be better, this may turn out really well.

Happy to see K and Code Geass: Akito the Exiled high on the list. The former has been a personal favorite for me as of late, and the latter, from what I hear, is doing a fair job of it. I hope it gets a DVD/BD release stateside. Very Happy

Jojo is overall 2nd place in overall sales with 22k+, only beaten by the likes of Girls und Panzer.

Here so you get into perspective how respectable Jojo sales are:

Temporal Blu-ray + DVD Sales Rankings for Autumn 2012

*1, 27,493 Girls und Panzer
*2, 22,109 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
*3, 17,520 Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
*4, 15,190 Magi
*5, 12,838 To LOVE-Ru Darkness
*6, 12,349 Gintama' Enchousen
*7, 11,609 Little Busters!
*8, 11,031 Initial D Fifth Stage
*9, *9,928 Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb
10, *9,010 K
11, *9,001 Psycho-Pass
12, *6,249 Kamisama Hajimemashita
13, *3,386 Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo
14, *2,497 Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne!
15, *2,494 Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
16, *2,392 Jormungand: Perfect Order
17, *2,184 Busou Shinki
18, *2,024 Hiiro no Kakera 2nd Season
19, *1,911 Zetsuen no Tempest
20, *1,759 Ixion Saga DT
21, *1,235 Robotics;Notes
22, *1,011 Hayate no Gotoku! Can't Take My Eyes Off You (vol.2)
22, *,*652 Medaka Box Abnormal
22, **,613 Code:Breaker (vol.2)
23, **,528 Shinsekai yori (vol.2)
24, **,415 Ebiten: Kouritsu Ebisugawa Koukou Tenmonbu (vol.3)
25, **,345 Btooom! (vol.3)

So in conclusion, this is a big seller, so considering all the source material and this kind of astronomical sales, a second season is almost guaranteed.

Still can't believe Sukinyo is missing from that list. Sales have been sensationally low.
