Now Im wondering if I should get Etrian Odyssey 4 since im almost sure this will come out in NA as well

Hey ummm...isn't the trailer a bit spoilerrific? Especially since this game is supposed to be a remake of Etrian Odyssey 1 with a story mode added in, the trailer already revealed the biggest plot twist of the entire game.
The scenes show them in an abandoned laboratory of sorts, indicating that the game takes place far into the future where a far more technologically advanced civilization(us!) existed and was the one responsible for all the monsters and stuff.
