Highly unfortunate.

Though this article is oddly amusing for what it doesn't say.

I just find it amusing how it dances around just what Comic LO publishes and just what those manga he drew are.

Google is all knowing, not hard to find the answer.

It's still a sad thing for anyone that young to pass away. Particularly a budding talent as he appears to have been. Condolences to his parents & friends. May he rest in peace.

Let's hope in his young life he restricted his pedophilia to merely fantasies and drawing and not actually doing. Yeah, kinda dry-eyed over this one, thank you very much.

Christopher Handley (the innocent American otaku who was arrested & imprisoned for owning "obscene manga") had manga released by Comic LO which was later discovered in his possession by police.

Hmm something is bothering me here but maybe i'm just paranoid. I've also read a few of his comic l.o. entries and their not horrible, but I don't want to discuss that right now.

WAY too young. Sad Been a while since I glanced at Comic LO and I honestly couldn't identify one artist from another (aside from maybe the awesome cover art), but any artist who passes while still in their early stages is a bummer to hear.

The fact that Handley plead guilty, didn't accept any assistance from the CBLDF and never defended himself just for possessing art earned my disdain as a fellow Iowan.

He died at the same age as James Dean & Biggie Smalls.

Handley was viciously bullied by the US justice system in order to get what they wanted in the end.

Sad news indeed, I had high hopes for Yasuda. A tankoubon by him would have been one of the most cutest awesome things ever.

Really wondering how he died. Oh well, his work will be sorely missed.
