They'd have pockmarks all over their skin limbs.

Looks like they're going to be showing some actual shootouts and stuff. With the stellar vocal cast it has a chance to be quite good.

Because Gainax shines when they do original projects, this is not, medaka box was not, its an adaptation.

I would be disappointed if a Gainax original project ends up being some moe like this, it would be low level, but this as an adaptation its ok.

Adaptation work is probably all Gainax can do unless they land a big hit soon. Gunbuster and Honneamise were a long time ago, and all the new Eva money is going to Khara.

You guys realize that this is literally "Gainax in name only" right?

Almost no one who made Gainax "Gainax" is still at the company.

The show actually looks pretty good, much to my surprise.

I'm somewhat wary of this after whatever the hell Upotte was, but I'll still check it out

/wrists /wrists...... but they still want to make that honenamise sequel..... I dont know how, the technical expertise for mecha 2d animation isint there like it used to be.... and many of their original founders have left or moved on... its a damned shame.

Yeah, with all the good old Gainax boys at Khara and all the good YOUNG Gainax boys at Trigger, I'm pretty sure that stuff like this and Medaka Box is being produced by ghosts and tumbleweeds.

But I'm still gonna watch it because it could be pretty cool! (Plus, compulsive brand loyalty!!)

Speaking of Trigger, There's a big Kill La Kill announcement tomorrow.

I'm still trying to figure out where it all went wrong. If you believe Imaishi's story, Gainax kept pushing these adaptions on him, instead of letting him do his own projects. I really hope they get some new blood in there, and get back to doing stuff people actually wanna watch. I know they're doing these adaptions to make money, but clearly it's not working.

I'm sooo stoked for more info on Kill La Kill! Gonna be refreshing ANN's frontpage all day tomorrow.

I also hope that we see Gainax continue to grow in new directions! Aren't some of the projects they announced at TAF original, non-adaptation stories? (I'm pretty sure the one about swimming and the CG one about angels are.) Keeping my fingers crossed that those actually happen and succeed!! I need Gainax to stay afloat so that I can be a fan of it and Trigger and Khara for many years to come!
