im new to anime, i live in scotland btw and i would like to get into anime. anyway could you suggest some good animes, i like action scenes(fighting en that) and in english. i've seen teh final fantasy and movie and...wow btillint only it was in japinease(sp).thanks

First off, you should check our favorites section at the top of this forum to see what we think is a good choice. Secondly is the Identifying the anime thread, which also is a great tool to look through to figure out some anime of your favored genre.

Wow I'm only two months your sempai in this forum industry, but with anime, I go a long way back (5 months).
I think you'll get a lot of recommendations in the "general questions" topic, but I'll make a few suggestions myself anyway. (1) Cowboy Bebop (2) Full Metal Alchemist (3) Naruto (4) One-Piece (5) Fruits Basket (6) Honey and Clover (7) Azumanga Daioh (8) Bleach (9) Love Hina (10) Full Metal Panic! Okay, by all means, listen to what other people have to say about which anime to watch first. These are just some of the very first anime series that I've watched, and they've made a good start for me. Of course, unless you are COMPLETELY new, you would have heard about pokemon, digimon, and other things that end with '-mon'. My advice: don't watch them. Anyways, go for your life, watch as many animes as possible. Cheers! |
