I wasn't able to see the latest dubbed Naruto episode until this morning, but when I watched it I noticed something odd. When Sasuke flashes back to all of his quarreling with Naruto, they leave in the scene where the two of them kiss. Yeah it's off in the corner but it's in plain sight. Seeing as how they took it out of the episode where the event happened why would they leave it in for this ep.?

Because while it was possible to edit it the first time, it wasn't possible to edit for this episode. With episode 3, it's just one frame, so you can cut that frame out to edit it. With the most recent episode, however, the kiss takes up a bunch of other frames. They couldn't cut out all of those frames, so they decided to let it slip that one time just for the sake of making the editor's job easier.

That is sooo awesome. Because of the situation (Naruto all sentimental over unconcious Sasuke), some wacky conservatives who have not watched the earlier episodes are going to take that waaaaaaaaaaay out of context.
Seriously, watch that again....it's pretty damn funny if you think about it.

Someone said that you could see Naruto stabbing his hand, too.
I bet the editors figured that they only took up about 1/8th of the screen, so they were like "screw it" and let it go by.

Truthfully, I don't care for the dub, but that is funny that they kept it in. I thought it was a "big deal" to have two guys kissing on a children's network, but really, I just find all of this to funny. I wondered how they were going to take care of that issue, but now I know.

The show is not shown that early in the morning so they can probably get away with a lot more.
The edits so far in the Naruto English version have been pretty minor and conservative.

I thought not showing the Sasuke/Naruto edits the first time is one of the best edits ever. I applaud them for taking the shot out.

Why? so children can grow up to be biast, homophobics who have no respect for people's personal prferences or feelings? Come on people face it: THERE ARE GAY PEOPLE AMONG YOU! Get over it, stop being stupid.

How about the fact that Naruto and Sasuke aren't gay? And I don't think underage minors should be open mouth kissing each other and I find it inappropriate. Not to mention it pretty much sparks a bunch of yaoi pedo obsessed fan-girls to write tons of bad yaoi fan fiction.

Then don't read the fanfiction. Nobody's forcing you to do so. Unless you're more concerned about those fangirls who post about it on message boards. Then I can't really help you there.

Now, now let's not let this get out of hand. Personally, I have no problem with the Naruto/Sasuke kiss scene since it was only ever meant as a joke. I mean, c'mon...Naruto and Sasuke have a staredown and someone mistakenly bumbs Naruto knocking him into Sasuke, now it's not my kind of humor, but that's all it is...something the producers threw in there for a laugh or two.
And as far as the yaoi fan girls, I know a few and they'd write stories with Naru/Sasuke regardless or wheather that scene ever happened or not, just because of how Kishimoto wrote their relationship, there are a few little subtle things that happen that would lead some people to beleive that Naru/Sasuke are a little closer than is let on, but the same can be said about Orochimaru...I mean that guy is like obsessed with little boys (Kimimaro, Sasuke, ect.). Anyway, the point is that this all boils down to how each person interprates the character releationships, it's all opinionated and nothing to really bother getting into an arguement or getting this topic locked for...

I never read it, but all the stupid fanclubs and all the pairing crap is all over the place and its annoying.
And it has nothing to do with homophobia, especially when Naruto and Sasuke are not gay.
You don't see me whining about Haku's man-love for Zabuza which I actually found quite interesting.
