Find your nearest Suncoast. Since they are going out of business, prices are good. You might not necessarily find box sets though.

Suncoast isn't going out of business. I'm pretty sure it'd be somewhere on their website. They're just closing stores. My Suncoast hasn't closed. However, there was a Sam Goody in that same mall that closed. Both Suncoast and Sam Goody are owned by Musicland Holding Corp. who has decided to close 341 locations of Sam Goody and Suncoast. It is not going out of business, however. The following website contains a list of all the Suncoast and Sam Goody stores that will be closed: http://actionfigures.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.toymania.com/news/messages/7861.shtml Be sure to specify if it says Sam Goody or Suncoast that's closing. Also, if you don't see your local store on the list and you haven't been there in a few weeks, you may want to call or stop by to make sure they are still there. And, I'm sure that if you checked out the retail forums, then you'd find some great sites.[/url] |

I guess a simple "Yes" would answer your question so I'll just leave it at that.Would you like to know where, or how you can find them? If you do, let us know. |

Suncoast is not going out of business. From these two news releases, you can see that only 65 Suncoast and Sam Goody stores are closing. The rest will be converted into Trans World Entertainment's own brands like FYE. |

ADV's thinpak collections have really cheap prices, and Bandai also has a few Anime Legends collections released. You can generally get ADV's thinpak for about $23 (13 episodes) or $59 (26 episodes), and the same price range goes for Bandai's collections.

Try the following places :
- Various Internet Websites - MovieStop (Not GameStop) (Used is the best way to go, $20-40 usually used, $35-80 for new thinpaks) - Best Buy (Most ADV thinkpaks are $20-80) - Suncoast (Most ADV thinkpaks are $50-90) - FYE (Wayyy... too... expensive) I personally get mine from Best Buy and MovieStop(I have huge store credit). |

This seems more like a Retail thread now. And yusuke1022, please try to be a little more specific next time, or your thread will be locked. Thanks.

I suggest Best Buy for box sets. Although most of their stores that carry that many titles, their website does. They normally have ADV thinpacks that retail for $90, for around $60. The $40/$50 thinpacks are somewhere around $30/$35. Also, Right Stuf has some great deals in their "Weekly Specials" section, which sometimes has a couple of thinpacks. If you try Ebay, be careful for bootlegs... unless you don't care then you should have no problem. |

I reccommend going to deepdiscountdvd.com for some of the thinpaks, which are generally 40% off. (13 episode series: $23) If DDD doesn't carry it, amazon.com has them. I was just looking through some of the prices at Amazon, and you can get some 26 episode boxsets for $44 (NGE platinum) or even $39 (Escaflowne). It depends on the title though. Overstock.com generally has cheap stuff, but things sell out quickly and you might have to wait for a restocking.

I can not sit by and let walmart.com be recommended for anything. They SUCK.* I'm sorry, but I don't care if they're giving away money, somehow, you will wish you never went near them anyway. I only wish I could delete my account there. Why is it that most places don't have that option? *The very short version is that they are completely unhelpful twits that couldn't send me an in stock CD until 6-8 weeks later, when it specifically said it would be there in a 7-10 days. And that's including trying to talk to their customer (dis)service for 2-3 of those weeks. |
