Everyone heres a big fan of Manga, yeah? What do you prefer, reading Shonen Jump or reading single manga books only including one title?

It would be far more accurate to ask whether your prefer serialization or collected manga, since Shounen Jump is not the only manga magazine out there and there are people, myself included, who have never read SJ and have no desire to read it, but have read other magazines, such as Shoujo Beat.

Anyway, I personally prefer to collected volumes, simply because they tell more of the story at a time, plus often had fun extras, such as comments from the mangaka or little comics at the end. I do really enjoy Shoujo Beat thougt as well, however the downside of that is the lack of extras, though there are sometimes interesting articles, and the fact that there are some of the series being serialized that I don't care for, yet end up paying money for all the same.

I prefer tankoubon, because you get a lot more chapters of the series plus omakes.

I prefer volumes as well. It's mainly why I stopped my subscription on Shonen Jump. When I want to reread the story, I don't want to flip through 3-5 magazines to piece together the story, I want to grab one volume and be done with it. Also, I like having 200 pages versus 30-60 pages. Depending on the series, things are often stretched out over several chapters and having to wait months for a single battle to end in a magazine makes it seem even longer than it really is.

The nice big size of the magazine pages was a nice plus, but not worth the rest of the hassle though.

One thing I do like about serialization that I forgot to mention before is being able to see a lot of different series, especially the previews, because it's nice to sample things and also allows me to read manga that I like but not quite enough to purchase the collected volumes of.

Serialization vs. volumes....eh, whatever's cheaper.

It more manga were serialized in America, I'd probably read them. But since they aren't, I only read Shojo Beat and then buy volumes for other comics myself.
