Um what chapter of the manga is the anime on this would be my first look into manga so i want to know can some one help me out?

School Rumble 2nd Term - episode 18 : end of chapter 156 so 157 (volume 13). Is that what you meant ?
You should read the manga from the beginning, it's a lot better than the anime (especially the 2nd season  ).
