In Vol 7 near the end when Asuna saved negi from the sharks
(Fu-Kei and Natsumi in coustums) her Harisen was the full blade and not the fan (I know somthing about it being incomplete was talked about in Vol 6). Basicaly i was just wondering what anyone thinks about what caused the change and why the change was never talked about in the story.

spoiler[Her emotional state of Negi being in danger from the *ehem* sharks allowed the full harisen to appear. There is a great scene coming up in a few volumes that illustrates this nicely.]

now that the original question is answered — can i please derail for a second?

i was kind of bored by volume 7. after the dramatic conclusion of vol 6... i'm starting to lose love for this series. when I read good new books, I often read it multiple times. like Beck, i must have read it 5 times over a month. I can't even make it through book 1 when trying to re-read this series.

please tell me, does this book get better? does akumatsu actually go anywhere with this book? This book has so much potential but what i'm seeing is very shallow plots and kind of amateurish mindset to it.

i think in Love Hina, after vol 2, it felt like it was going to become a classic. with Negima... i see flashes of brilliance but I more often feel empty than not.

I like the story much better after volume 8, but that is just me. It starts getting into the festival which I thought was interesting.

Stop reviving old threads. One month is the limit.
