I thought the same exact thing, but it looks like the writer is different for both series. Is the artist similar or is he just a parody character?

Pink Hair girl is my favorite character already and I've yet to see the show. I like the character design which fits the "Ditsy" character.

1000:1 that when they dub this, they have harima's VA do the dub for that character.. i can see it now

Funimations site has so many player issues its scary so this is really bad news unless they put it on Hulu a watchable service.

We really should start petitioning them to do this.
I remember how immersion-breaking it was in Durarara when those dubbers didn't use Tatum & Glass for Issac & Miria; my id didn't care about technical difficulties/cost of such a thing

This is a completely different situation. Isaac & Miria were already established characters with established voice actors. This guy is a completely new character who's only similarity to Harima is that he kinda looks like him.
It won't be nearly as disappointing as it was in DRRR's case if they don't use Brandon Potter to voice him. In fact, I can see the casting director casting a different actor on purpose precisely so someone won't confuse him for Harima.
